'Best of London' Photography Course

International   |   8 Hours  |   Suits all levels
  • Reportage, street scene photography at Covent Gardens, Soho and Notting Hill
  • Iconic images on famous sites
  • Night photography techniques at Trafalgar square
  • Street life of London

Cost: $290 | 7 July '19

This action packed London photographic course captures the flavour and ambience of London - the ever present splashes of red from the iconic Routemasters, the bowler hatted businessmen, the famous London taxi, the speakers at Hyde Park Corner, the pigeon lady in Trafalgar Square. It is the character of London that makes it such a brilliant city; the mix of old and new, the quaintness, the quirkiness and in essence, the life.

Our workshop commences in Covent Gardens which comes alive with street vendors and buskers. Its then a short walk along the embankment to the Houses of Parliament, the London Eye, Big Ben and reflections on the Thames. A Underground tube ride takes us to Notting Hill and a walk back through Hyde Park via Buckingham Palace to Knightsbridge, Harrods and Kings Road. In mid afternoon we take a trip down the Thames on a boat to the Old Royal Observatory and to Greenwich Pier.

After a session on night photography shooting vehicle light streams and the Trafalgar Square fountains we visit a famous British pub such as the Dog and Duck finishing our exhilarating day with a well deserved beverage!
