This is an epic photographic adventure! Travel by train from the romantic Italian city of Venice, over the Alps and across Switzerland to the majestic mountain villages of St Moritz and Zermatt. The chocolate box snow clad landscapes, forests and mountain streams and some of the finest mountain and glacier vistas outside of the Himalaya will result in sublime photographs.
■ Photographing the romantic Italian city of Venice- the architecture, the food, the wine. This stunning water city is a mecca for serious photographers
■ Taking the Bernina Express to St Moritz and wind through the mountain switchbacks of this UNESCO listed mountain area into Switzerland.
■ Snowmobiling in St Moritz. Snowmobiles are the perfect mode of transport for taking great mountain landscapes
■ Travelling to Zermatt through sublime alpine scenery via the famous Glacier Express
■ We take the highest cable car in the world to the top of the Matterhorn
■ Visiting the tiny hamlet of Findel and Tuftern where we can enjoy a Glüwein or delicious apfelstrudel.
■ Staying in rustic, car free Zermatt with stunning alpine scenery and views of the Matterhorn from every aspect
■ Due to the Covid 19 worldwide pandemic and a ban on International travel out of Australia - we regret that this photography tour is temporarily suspended. If you are interested we expect to be running this tour sometime in 2022.
